Are you a skilled leader? We're looking for a Maintenance Team Supervisor to coordinate and oversee our maintenance team, ensuring efficient responses to both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and triage daily maintenance requests, distributing tasks to team members.
* Handle day-to-day maintenance activities, including furniture delivery, general repairs, and event setup.
* Plan and organise room relocations, ensuring smooth transitions.
* Conduct and update risk assessments, ensuring safe working practices.
* Supervise and motivate the maintenance team, providing training and performance appraisals.
* Attend bi-weekly meetings to report on workload and projects.
* Manage procurement of tools, equipment, and materials.
* Collaborate with other departments for events and tasks.
* Provide emergency on-call cover as needed.
What We Need:
* Experience leading a maintenance team.
* Knowledge of multi-trade repairs and furniture assembly.
* Strong organisational and carpentry skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Basic computer literacy (Outlook, Excel).
* Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work at heights and lift heavy items.
* Valid driving license and ability to use a bicycle for site travel.
* Relevant certifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IPAF) are highly desirable.
Details:
* Pay:
Circa £36k per annum.
* Hours:
39 hours/week (Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm).
* Holiday:
25 days + 8 public holidays.
* Meals:
Free lunch provided during duty hours.
