We are working with a well-regarded, inclusive primary school in Reading to appoint a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September. You will be working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver targeted support, contribute to classroom activities, and help create an environment where all pupils can thrive. Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group support for pupils, including those with SEND Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities Help prepare resources and contribute to the creation of an engaging learning environment Monitor pupil progress and offer encouragement and guidance where needed Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere across the school day Requirements ✔️ A genuine interest in education and child development ✅ Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred) Confidence in supporting children with additional needs Full-time availability from September Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us) At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
