About the Role: As a SEN Teacher for Complex Needs, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised learning experiences that support the unique needs of each student. You’ll work closely with a team of professionals to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every learner can thrive. Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher – Complex Needs: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students with complex needs, ensuring engagement and progress. Teach across a range of age groups, adapting strategies to meet individual learning styles and abilities. Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tracking student progress and adjusting support as needed. Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external agencies to provide holistic support. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence. Uphold health and safety standards, promoting safe practices in all learning activities. Requirements of SEN Teacher – Complex Needs: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience working with students with complex special educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues. A nurturing and resilient approach to teaching and behaviour management.
