Role Overview
You will join Oxfam GB’s Owned Digital team to conduct user experience research that informs design decisions for our website and digital products. By applying a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, you will help the team understand supporter behaviours, needs, and motivations to deliver accessible, inclusive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, plan and carry out the full research lifecycle for project‑based work.
* Advocate for supporters, champion accessibility and inclusion in all phases of research.
* Apply methods such as AB‑testing, heat‑map analysis, Google Analytics, usability testing, user interviews, and surveys to collect insights.
* Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that guide content creators and stakeholders.
* Partner with the insights, analytics team and external agencies to nurture productive working relationships.
* Champion user‑centred design principles and upskill internal teams.
Required Experience & Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven experience in digital UX research or a related field.
* Extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
* Excellent storytelling skills to present findings effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
* Passion for creating intuitive, inclusive, and impactful user experiences.
* Strong time‑management skills and proficiency with digital collaboration tools (MS Teams, Email, Jira, etc.).
* Adaptability and commitment to staying current with industry trends.
