Role Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded individual to lead complex commercial and pricing modelling initiatives. This role is critical in shaping our pricing strategy, customer propositions, and go-to-market approach by building and maintaining dynamic models based on various cost bases, assumptions, and customer pricing options.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and maintain financial and commercial models to support strategic decisions, bids, and investment cases.
* Build out scenario analysis reflecting different assumptions, cost structures, and market conditions.
* Analyse and present customer pricing strategies, including tiered, usage-based, and fixed-rate models.
* Partner closely with product, finance, sales, technology and engineering teams to align on business inputs and commercial objectives.
* Provide clear, insightful, and actionable recommendations based on modelling outputs.
* Support deal reviews with robust pricing structures.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience building complex pricing and financial models in a telecom or technology environment.
* Deep understanding of telecoms cost drivers (network, interconnect, infrastructure, support).
* Expertise in Excel (including advanced formulas, scenario planning).
* Commercial & Strategic Acumen
* Good understanding of telecom pricing strategies
* Experience with commercial assessments for large deals and business cases
* Ability to interpret data and translate financial outcomes into clear strategic guidance
* Ability to present and explain models and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing inputs from various stakeholders.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in telecoms, consulting, or a related commercial modelling role.
