Job Title: SEND TeacherLocation: London, Sutton Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Salary: Paid to scale We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team in London, Sutton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and tailored instruction to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Key Responsibilities: •Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND. •Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the varied learning styles and abilities within the classroom. •Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to maximize student potential and progress. •Regularly assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. •Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive social interactions and high self-esteem among students. •Engage with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive approach to the students' education and well-being. •Participate in continuous professional development to deepen your understanding of SEND best practices and current educational approaches. Requirements: •Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. •Prior experience in a SEND setting or with SEND students. •A strong commitment to inclusive education principles. •Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. •Current DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
