ASD Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (term-time only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term, temp to perm Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate, caring and resilient SEN Teaching assistant who can provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil, with Autism and Behavioural Needs, in a welcoming primary school in Binley, Coventry. You will be supporting their engagement with learning, and positive behaviour development. This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent. Providing 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism and Behaviour Needs Spotting signs of dysregulation and helping the child to manage their emotions Supporting the pupil to access learning and integration. Developing a safe and trusting relationship with the pupil. Encouraging the pupil to build confidence in a comfortable and reassuring environment. Strong experience working with children Autism and Behaviour Needs.
