Group Finance Manager (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Hook/Hybrid (2 – 3 days on site)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates
Role Profile
Are you a skilled finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and detail–oriented Group Finance Manager to join our dynamic Group Reporting team within Group Finance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast–paced environment and is eager to support our 2025 year–end reporting process and audit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the month–end financial reporting process to ensure all deadlines are met.
* Assisting in the production of the Annual Report and Accounts, collaborating closely with various stakeholders.
* Facilitating the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and insights.
* Analyzing and interrogating financial information to identify trends and variances.
* Preparing papers to support accounting judgments as part of the 2025 year–end process.
* Liaising with Divisions to gather crucial information, ensuring the year–end reporting process is completed accurately and on time.
* Overseeing the preparation of subsidiary financial statements.
* Addressing any other ad–hoc items required by the team to support our objectives.
Skills & Experience:
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within a group finance environment.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial information.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem–solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
* Experience in preparing financial statements and working with auditors would be advantageous.
