Do you have experience working with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties? Are you caring and adaptable and wanting to support children within a mainstream Primary school based in South Liverpool?
CER Education are currently looking for a highly motivated and engaging Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs, enabling them to achieve their full learning potential. Full time hours working 8:30-3:45pm Monday to Friday. This role is to start asap!
Responsibilities
* Working on a 1:1 basis supporting children with complex needs
* Have a positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
* Keeping the child focused and engaged in their learning using different tools and methods
* Liaising with the relevant class teachers and providing support where required
Qualifications
* Experience working with SEN/Disabilities
* Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of Special Educational Needs
* Understanding of OFSTED requirements
* Understanding of Safeguarding
* Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete and pay for a new DBS application
