We are recruiting a General Manager at Bryngarw House. In this role you will lead the development and commercial performance of the venue, shape and evolve the venue's offer, and enhance the Awen brand while delivering sustainable commercial returns.
Applicants should possess a degree level qualification in a relevant subject or be able to demonstrate competence through experience. Experience managing a multi-functional hotel and building teams to deliver functions and events is also essential. Other essential criteria include an IOSH Managing Safely Qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification, a proven track record in a commercial hospitality environment, and proven experience of budget projection and management.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about the industry, have a guest and service-oriented approach, lead by example while promoting positive and inclusive working, have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while managing competing priorities.
