Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our small friendly team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children and want to work for a private setting with room to grow and develop. As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development.
Duties
* Supervise and engage with children in various activities to promote learning and development.
* Implement educational programmes that cater to the needs of children at different developmental stages.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child\'s progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily activities, ensuring a cohesive approach to childcare.
* Provide support in managing behaviour and resolving conflicts among children in a constructive manner
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
* Minimum level 2 childcare qualification
* First aid in date course desirable but not essential
* DBS on update service desirable but not essential
* safeguarding training desirable but not essential
* Able to reliably commute to the village of Sonning Common
* Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
* A genuine passion for nurturing children\'s growth and development.

This role will require an enhanced clear DBS and is excluded from the rehabilitate of offenders act.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 27 per week
