Job Opportunity: Finance Manager
Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Core Accounting Team. You will support the Deputy Head of the team to ensure the integrity and compliance of financial operations. Your role will include managing the financial feeders and debtors' team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Support the integrity of all accounting entries into the ledger.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, manage controls, and support audit processes, including liaising with external auditors.
* Manage a large team, including workload allocation and balancing demands.
* Drive good practice and compliance with financial procedures.
* Maintain professional relationships with internal departments and external partners.
* Lead process improvements, automating manual tasks to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Promote a positive culture, governance, and high standards of work.
Previous financial experience in the NHS is mandatory for this role.
Additional Information
We support bilingualism to enhance patient and service user experiences. Welsh language skills are desirable; training options are available for staff to meet these requirements.
