About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to lead our Ambient operation, overseeing approximately £3m of inventory across our UK Operations and ensuring the highest standards of service, accuracy, and operational efficiency. The role will be based at Cake Décor, our site in Cumbernauld; the largest manufacturer of edible cake decorations and toppings in the UK, producing an extensive range for leading Grocery retailers, food manufacturers and specialist artisan bakers.
In this key leadership role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for delivering a safe, well‑organised, and performance‑focused warehouse environment, ensuring all stock handling, storage, and dispatch processes meet both internal KPIs and customer expectations.
You will develop your team’s capability, embed strong daily management routines, and drive continuous improvement across all warehouse activities.
You’ll lead a team of supervisors and operatives, ensuring the effective planning of labour, maintaining stock integrity, managing intake and dispatch flows, and supporting wider Supply Chain objectives.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders—including Supply Chain, Commercial, Technical and Transport—to maintain an accurate and efficient operation that supports business growth.

Experience of ERP systems essential, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle etc. You will have excellent attention to detail, thrive under pressure, and demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations within the FMCG sector.
