The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We deliver essential local services that provide safe, trusted support to children and young people during times of significant need. We are currently looking to add a dynamic, ambitious Shop Manager to lead our team in our Shipley shop.
Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse, competent team of paid staff and volunteers.
* Process donated stock to a high level at a fast pace and display appropriately.
* Ensure the health and safety of the shop for donors, customers and volunteers.
Required Skills & Competencies
* Strong team leadership and motivation.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proactive approach to health and safety.
Desirable Skills & Competencies
* PC literate.
* Able to demonstrate trends and have a good eye for visual merchandising.
* Motivate a team.
