Are you a passionate and skilled Intervention Teacher dedicated to raising pupil attainment and closing learning gaps?
GSL Education are seeking a motivated Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming school in Nottingham. This role offers the chance to make a measurable difference by providing targeted support to pupils who need additional help with core subjects.
As an Intervention Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver focused lessons and small group sessions to address individual learning needs.
* Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, and subject-specific challenges, helping them to catch up and build confidence.
* Work closely with classroom teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
* Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching approaches to maximise outcomes.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages engagement and achievement.
* Uphold safeguarding, behaviour management, and child protection responsibilities at all times.
Requirements for the role of Intervention Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience working with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, particularly in core subjects.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and differentiation skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
