We’re looking for a passionate and committed Receptionist with a particular interest in working with people where support for alcohol and/or drug use has been identified as a need. Our Admin team here at Change Grow Live play an integral part in supporting the team in our mission, providing reception and admin support to our teams enabling them to focus on delivering our services, ensuring our service users receive the help and support they need to achieve their goals. Acting as our first point of contact; our admin team are the face of our service, speaking with our service users face to face and via the telephone, are non-judgemental, empathetic and want to make a real difference to people’s lives. Where: Reading Hours: 37.5 per week Contract: Permanent Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award A bout the role As first point of contact, ensure service users and other visitors receive a friendly and efficient service and that all visits are dealt with promptly and courteously. Contribute to the improvement and upkeep of client areas, ensuring that the reception area is welcoming and tidy. Contribute to maintaining the client information displayed in the reception area is tidy, current and relevant. Encourage service user feedback and the use of the suggestion box to all clients accessing the service. Providing basic advice and information on the service offer. Contribute to managing an effective appointment system, liaising with keyworkers. Checking appointments on the CGL information system and book future appointment for service users Take messages for staff and update case management contacts where appropriate Support the team in managing/booking appointments via the electronic diary system Maintain accurate records of all contacts on our case management systems Assist with admin, record-keeping and communication within the wider admin team.
