Trainer/Assessor in Electrical/Maintenance Engineering
We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work alongside academic staff and employers to support our apprentices and nurture their talent. The role involves supporting the negotiation of learning needs in the workplace and providing tailored support to develop apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
Many of our outstanding Engineering training staff have successfully transitioned from industry to education, bringing valuable experience that challenges and inspires students within our Centre of Engineering Excellence. Why not join them?
This role requires planning, delivering, and reviewing underpinning knowledge, work-based learning, and recording overall progress for each apprentice. The successful candidate will possess an appropriate Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject and either possess or be willing to work towards an appropriate Assessor qualification within a specified timescale.
Assessments will be conducted in industry off-site.
The salary for this position is up to £34,531, depending on experience.
