Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
2. Develop students’ skills in problem-solving, numeracy, and mathematical reasoning, preparing them for academic success.
3. Implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement and academic achievement.
5. Collaborate with the Maths department to enhance the curriculum and actively participate in school activities and events.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
4. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
5. A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential in Maths.
6. Two education or school-based references.
