Position: Operational Support Officer
Location: Based at Culham, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £25,655 to £28,531 per annum plus a £2,000 South East allowance, plus a generous benefits package
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Role Overview
We are seeking an Operational Support Officer to provide efficient support services. You will be the first point of contact for business inquiries, gaining in-depth knowledge of the organization and its processes. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as venue, travel, and equipment bookings, preparing paperwork, and using our systems to produce reports and forecasts. You will collaborate with colleagues to build relationships across the organization, manage suppliers, raise purchase orders, and handle financial management requests and queries.
What We're Looking For
* Confident IT user with experience in common office systems, procedures, equipment, and facilities
* Hold or be willing to work toward Business Administration qualifications
* Self-motivated, flexible, able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of managing a heavy and varied workload
* Experience in coordinating meetings and managing record systems, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, at all levels and with external partners
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
