Job Role: Buyer
Area: Dartford
Salary: £42k - £48k
Duties
My client is looking for an experience Buyer to join their business based in Dartford, working closely with the director duties will include:
* The development and continuous improvement of the Procurement systems
* Source and select suppliers
* Raise Purchase Orders on an Electronic POP system.
* Resolving queries with the Accounts Team.
* Processing GRNs
* Preparation and analysis of Weekly and Monthly Reports.
* Responsible for keeping records of all Plant and Equipment on Hire.
* Updating supplier contact details.
* Liaising with multiple Sites.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Ad hoc duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be
* Substantial relevant experience within the construction industry.
* Strong purchasing background.
* Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures.
* Excellent Excel & IT Skills.
* Experience in using Electronic POP systems.
