We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Manager or Team Leader to join our Fraud department.
As a Team Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring your team thrives by creating a cohesive and efficient work environment to maximize their potential. You will work closely with department managers and colleagues in FR, Finance, and Compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in team management, with exceptional analytical and communication skills. You should display excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships with the team and clients, be goal-driven, and manage daily team activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management
* Be the first point of contact for your team and handle queries.
* Manage daily team activities, including planning, organizing workload, hitting targets and SLAs, and managing absences.
* Audit and review team files, complaint letters, and Financial Ombudsman forms.
* Analyze MI reports to provide feedback and assess team performance.
* Provide training and support to maximize productivity.
* Set targets, deadlines, and SLAs for the team.
* Review team files for quality and assurance purposes.
1. Finance
* Oversee billing, payments, and debt reports.
* Handle unallocated payments and post.
1. Compliance
* Ensure team compliance with file closure processes.
* Adhere to workflow procedures.
* Handle complaints investigations within the team.
1. Data Analytics
* Have strong experience in data analysis.
* Review management reports to inform decision-making.
* Assess files for progression and prospects.
* Deliver team training.
Other duties as determined by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* At least 3 years' experience in a legal team leader/managerial role, preferably in a high-volume department.
* Confidence in supervising a team.
* Experience in delivering training.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to set and manage targets and SLAs.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in planning, performance management, coaching, and development.
* Experience in developing team members and using management information effectively.
* Resilient and adaptable to change.
* Proactive decision-making skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
* Understanding of department functions and contribution to firm success.
* Excellent IT skills; experience with Proclaim is desirable.

Role Details:
Pay Rate: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
