Location: Sheffield Ford & BYD Contract Type: Permanent, full-time Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm Salary: £24,250 - £26,250 per annum (depending on experience) We're excited to be on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to come and join our experienced Accounts team at our Sheffield office on a permanent basis. Within this role you will be supporting with the processing of purchase orders for our dealership, therefore accuracy and attention to detail are key within this role. Responsibilities Inputting Purchase Ledger Invoices Liaising with management regarding authorization of invoices Daily processing supplier’s invoices and credits Resolving queries with suppliers Reconciling supplier statements General administrative duties Daily Banking, Processing incoming payments from all Departments BACS Transfer Requests Process Warranty Payments from Manufacturer Experience / Essential Skills You will love paying attention to detail and will bring this to life in maintaining accurate records and everything else in the world of your role! Being organised will be second nature to you, and you'll thrive working well under pressure, prioritising workload and showing initiative by improving any procedures where appropriate and can handle multiple demands of your time. Communication is key, as you will showcase this in varying methods in this role whilst not forgetting you will be exposed to sensitive information at times, so being discreet and protecting confidential material is a must. Prior experience in a busy Accounts or Finance department is essential, and some understanding of the automotive industry would be desirable. However this is not essential, as full training will be provided. Some level of flexibility will be required during busy periods/holiday cover.
