We offer a wide range of services, and we’re looking for a skilled Account Assistant to join our friendly finance team in Nuneaton and play a vital role in our continued success. What you’ll be doing: As our Account Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the day-to-day financial operations. Your responsibilities will include: Processing invoices and payments with accuracy and efficiency. Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and analysis. Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems. Dealing with supplier and internal finance queries in a professional and timely manner. Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.What you’ll bring: We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and has a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll have: Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role. A good understanding of basic accounting principles. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and can-do attitude. While not essential, experience within the social care sector or holding an AAT qualification would be advantageous.
