The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and luxury 5* property, is currently recruiting for an Executive Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Department. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of an Executive Housekeeper, your key focus will be to:
* oversee and lead the housekeeping department, including Laundry, Valet and Florist services
* participate in the preparation of the strategic business and operating plans
* prepare the annual Housekeeping Department payroll and operating budgets and monthly expenditure forecast
* implement strategies aimed at cost minimisation and productivity maximisation without compromising quality standards
* monitor and review quality standards for the department
* conduct daily checks of guest bedrooms, all public areas and guest corridors
* attend promptly to all guest complaints and requests and follow up as necessary
* always lead by example and inspire the teams to deliver highly personalised, anticipatory and memorable guest experience
* build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders
