What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Handling a caseload of both private and legal aid family matters, with a focus on children and domestic abuse cases
2. Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients, always ensuring high standards of service
3. Taking an active role in business development and contributing to marketing initiatives
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and managing expectations
5. Scoping fees for private clients and supporting in budgetary management of matters
6. Supporting junior members of the team and assisting in their development
7. Participating in networking events, client seminars, and raising the team’s profile externally
8. Contributing to firm-wide projects and cross-sector initiatives
Requirements:
9. Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid experience in family law, specifically in private law children and domestic abuse
10. Experience managing a varied caseload independently, including legal aid and private files
11. Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach
12. Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to business growth
13. Experience of mentoring or supporting junior Lawyers is an advantage
