Role: Care Assistant - Bank
Location: Sandwood Care Home, 700 Mansfield Road, NG5 3FS
Pay: £12.96p/h
Responsibilities
* Work when required as a relief Care Assistant, with the option to accept or decline offered shifts.
* Be on the front line of care delivery as a relief Care Assistant.
* Help residents with their individual care needs, including personal care, medical care, and engaging in social activities.
* Build a genuine bond with residents and provide professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
* Assist residents with daily living activities (washing, dressing, eating, drinking, mobility) and support their dignity, independence, and sense of home.
* Contribute to developing residents’ Care Plans and be aware of any specialist support needs.
Pay & Benefits
* Competitive pay aligned with casual (bank) worker assignments and benchmarked with similar roles.
* Leave accrual at an equivalent rate of 31 days per full calendar year (pro rata for part-time/casual work), including bank/public holidays.
* Mandatory training provided to start; ongoing mandatory training to be kept up to date for future assignments.

Eligibility & Compliance
Please note this role will require eligibility to work in the UK, two satisfactory employment references, and an Enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by Abbeyfield.
