About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident and being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans
* Ensuring new needs are met and written records are amended accordingly
* Being involved in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations
* Supporting residents with medication requirements
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required
* Acting as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated
About You
Ideal candidate will have:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification for care homes
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar care environment
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff
* Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities

* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
