Believ: ABOUT US

At Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, we’re committed to sustainable transport being accessible to everyone. We’re a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK’s most reliable electric vehicle charging network that doesn’t cost the earth and leaves no one behind. Providing equitable access to electric vehicle charging, and achieving cleaner air for all, is at the heart of the Believ mission. We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high quality charging networks at pace, at scale and at zero cost.

We offer all the advantages of being a scale-up business, but with the added security and long-term backing from well-known parents - Liberty Global (who also own our delivery partner, Virgin Media O2) and Zouk Capital (who manage the Government’s Charging Investment Infrastructure Fund).

You’ll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and working with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. You’ll become part of a passionate and supportive team in a fast-paced, dynamic and result-driven environment.

About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our growing marketing team at Believ as a Social and Content Marketing Manager. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and sustainability — someone who thrives both behind the camera and behind the screen.

You will be the go-to person for bringing our brand to life across social media, working both independently and with agency partners to plan, create, and publish content that builds community, drives engagement, and showcases our impact. As the “boots on the ground,” you’ll be responsible for capturing real-time content from events, site installations, and team activity — helping us tell authentic stories that connect with our audiences.

You’ll also play a key role in managing day-to-day agency relationships, ensuring deliverables align with our brand tone, objectives, and timelines. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong digital instincts, a proactive attitude, and an interest in purpose-driven marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

* Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Believ’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.) and support and manage the launch onto additional channels. This role will start focusing on B2B channels, but be crucial as we launch further B2C communications
* Manage day-to-day community engagement, responding to comments, questions, and mentions to grow and nurture online communities
* Be on the ground at Believ events, site installations, or partner activations to capture authentic, engaging video and photography content
* Repurpose content for different channels and audiences, tailoring tone and format appropriately
* Monitor performance and audience insights, and adapt strategies to optimise engagement

Agency & Stakeholder Co-ordination

* Act as the key day-to-day contact for our social and content agencies – briefing them, reviewing content, and ensuring timely delivery
* Work with internal teams (e.g., commercial, sales, consumer, operations) to source stories and coordinate content opportunities
* Help maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs in collaboration with external partners
* Support briefing of creative assets, campaigns, and paid media initiatives in partnership with the wider marketing team

General Marketing Support

* Assist with internal and external newsletters, website updates, email campaigns, and stakeholder communications
* Collaborate on updating marketing materials and digital assets, including brochures, presentation decks, and case studies
* Support marketing campaign planning and reporting, including monthly performance summaries
* Contribute to cross-functional marketing projects and day-to-day admin as required

About You

* At Believ, we’re building a culture that thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and purpose. We’re passionate about cutting carbon emissions and delivering cleaner air for all — and we want someone who shares that passion and is excited to grow in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation best practices
* Comfortable with basic photography and videography and editing tools, such as Photoshop
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
* Experience in a similar role or internship preferred, but not essential
* Exposure to agency collaboration or marketing campaign management is a plus

Benefits

* Competitive salary and bonus scheme
* 25 days’ annual leave, plus the usual 8 UK Bank Holidays and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days per year*
* Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical insurance, critical illness cover, dental, optical & travel insurance, income protection and life assurance
* Pension contribution matched up to 10%
* Access to our car benefit scheme and cycle to work scheme
* Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us.
* 24 hours a year Volunteer Time Off to support causes that are important to you
* Virgin Media / O2 discounts and offers
* Access to VIP Arena Suites at the O2 Arena (London) and First Direct Arena (Leeds)
* Enhanced parental leave policies

* This perk can only be availed for the following calendar year by employees who started before 1st December

Location

The business is currently based in our office in Southwark. The position is full time, hybrid with 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) based in the office. Believ is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for our people.
