Overview:
We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Engineer as part of the 24-hour First Line Engineering Team in our Customer Management Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with tech support experience seeking a long-term career with development prospects.
This role involves 12-hour day/night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation, based in Caldicot.
Responsibilities:
* Handling fault calls via telephone/email from Mitel customers and partners;
* Fault diagnosis with end users, providing help and advice;
* Logging fault information into Mitel’s SAP, Remedy, and Salesforce systems accurately;
* Updating faults with progress information and informing customers;
* Performing scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and installations remotely;
* Managing planned activities in coordination with partners, customers, and suppliers.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Mitel's product portfolio or experience in tech support within telecoms/IT;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to diagnose complex incidents remotely;
* Practical fault-finding experience;
* Analytical problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work independently;
* Proficiency with PC, standard applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Windows OS.
