Salary
£25,073 to £28,108 per annum, starting at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.

About the Role & Team
We are looking for an experienced and customer‑focused Facilities Team Leader to supervise the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams and manage the facilities of University Park. Main duties include:
* Organising and supervising the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams.
* Inspecting building infrastructure, reporting maintenance issues and setting up meeting rooms.
* Ensuring adequate supplies of consumables for teaching and conferences.
* Managing keys, unlocking and locking designated areas within the area of responsibility.
* Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, handling enquiries face‑to‑face, by phone and by e‑mail.
* Maintaining cleaning standards, inducting, training and supervising the cleaning team and conducting appraisal conversations.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a customer‑facing environment.
* Relevant cleaning experience.
* Experience supervising staff.
* Basic maintenance experience and knowledge of fire and security alarm systems.

Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday between 1:45 pm and 10:00 pm.
This is a permanent, full‑time post. Expected to attend Estates and Facilities training courses run Monday to Friday mornings.
