POWER SYSTEM STUDIES ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – CONTRACT – SURREY
Our Client is seeking a Power System Studies Electrical Engineer for onshore projects on an initial 6‑12 month contract with an immediate start.
Experience
* Experience of captive power generation, with or without grid connection.
* Experience of equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, and transient stability.
* Previous experience of running Aramco power system studies and overseeing third‑party vendors.
* Experience providing power system studies for projects using EMT software.
* Intermediate know‑how using ETAP software.
Job Scope
* Support onshore projects with captive power generation, whether connected to grid or not.
* Conduct equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash and transient stability analyses.
* Run power system studies and oversee third‑party vendors.
* Deliver power system studies for projects using EMT software.
Duration
6‑12 months initially.
Location
Based minimum 4 days a week in Surrey client’s offices; hybrid working may be possible with one remote day.
Rate
£65.00 per hour Ltd co rate. Final IR35 status determined by QDOS assessment.
Benefits
