MET Recruitment is excited to be working with a market-leading company based in the Worcester / Kidderminster area. The company boasts an excellent office environment in a great location. The ideal candidate would be two years post-ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified. This role also offers the possibility to work hybrid after training.
What Will You Be Doing?
* Assisting staff in developing and troubleshooting issues with SAGE
* Conducting key variance analysis of actual vs. budget performance
* Using bespoke software to ensure the integrity and flow of data with SAGE
* Performing daily bank reconciliations, monitoring, and updating cash flow including forecasting
* Providing support to the Finance Team
* Implementing the most efficient methods of producing Management Information from business systems
* Producing key Management Information from Sage for presentation to the Business & Group
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
* Managing Credit Control and debt recovery, including weekly reporting of outstanding debts to management
What We’re Looking For
* Managing stakeholder expectations effectively
* Staff management experience, including leadership, supervision, and development reviews
* Experience in budgeting and cash flow management
* Ability to drive and manage change within the business
* Strong planning and preparation skills
Necessary Qualifications
* ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification
* At least two years post-qualification experience
* Up-to-date knowledge of SAGE and modern accounting principles
