About The Role
The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic and supportive team, contributing significantly to our research and teaching activities.
We are looking for outstanding candidates, particularly in the following areas within the Computer Science discipline:
* Applied AI
* Quantum Computing
* Cyber Security
* Natural Language Processing
Assistant Professors will be appointed for a probation period (usually five years). Successful completion of probation will coincide with promotion to Associate Professor. The department provides opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level.
We consider applications for part-time or flexible working arrangements, unless operational reasons prevent it.
About You
You will hold a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field by the start date. You should have an excellent academic record, with impactful publications, significant software artefact design and implementation, and relevant awards. You must have a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education.
