The Role Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using pre-prepared materials Keep students focused, engaged, and on task during teacher absence Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies Provide clear and constructive feedback to teaching staff Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment Gain practical experience while supporting the progress and wellbeing of students This Role Is Ideal For: Experienced Cover Supervisors seeking opportunities in Wirral and Ellesmere Port Qualified Teachers looking for flexible or alternative classroom roles PGCE or teacher training applicants wanting further school experience Early Career Teachers (ECTs) building confidence and classroom management skills Individuals with UK-based youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or school support experience What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young people in the UK (essential), for example in schools, clubs, sports coaching, youth organisations A degree or strong academic background Confidence in leading and managing a classroom independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider school community A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
