St Matthew's Primary School, Cranmer Education Trust, is seeking to employ a TA level 3 to the team. We are a successful and happy school where the children's happiness is our priority. Happy learners are ready to learn and thrive academically. It is through instilling and nurturing happiness that our children are able to meet the demands or our challenging, ambitious curriculum. TA3's are increasingly crucial in terms of their flexibility and skills to provide short notice cover and support in school for short periods of unplanned absence and it is a central requirement of the role.
Initially based in our vibrant and successful Early Years unit, you will:
* Have an interest in or prior experience of working with children who, with time, care and support, can enjoy celebrating even greater achievement;
* Have an interest in or prior experience of working with a range of professionals in order to prioritise the welfare, enjoyment of learning alongside the pursuit of the highest outcomes;
* Enjoy the challenge of stepping up to take classes at short notice when needed, any where in school.
* Attend INSET, internal meetings and tailored professional development;
* Drive learning in 1-1 and small group-work whilst equally encouraging independence as the learning journey progresses
* Work with SEND learners to achieve the best outcomes educationally and emotionally
* Lead the learning in a Read Write Inc Phonics group each day
* Work well with the wider school team as well as in the base classroom which will initially be in Reception class.
* Enjoy working within our core Christian values (CARES) to value inclusivity, celebrating and appreciating difference in God's world.
