Hexagon Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client located within the Mold area for the permanent position of a: Production Supervisor
As the production Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager in running and maintaining and supervising the efficient running of the production lines; whilst working within a safe working environment in line with our client’s SHEQ Procedures.
As the Production Supervisor, you are responsible for all Production Personnel including, Team Leader, Line Setters, Re-Work Operatives, Packing and Palletising Operatives.
Experience required:
* Able to oversee the daily shift rota and staffing levels.
* Coordinate between shifts and acting as a central point of contact for operational issue working closely with Supervisory teams.
* Coordinate holiday and absence management, advising HR.
* Conduct Return-to-Work meetings, and Formal Absence Meetings when required
* Conduct regular training and maintain training records
* Deal with agency workers and contractors.
* Work closely with the Line Setters to ensure start up and quality checks are taking place.
* To work closely with the Line Setters and Process (re-work) Operatives in order to achieve target weights, informing the Production Manager of any issues with the daily plan.
* Responsible for ensuring all SOP’s, SHEQ Procedures and Isolation Guides are followed.
* Advise the Production Manager, Planning Coordinator and Plant Manager of shortfalls in the production plan.
* Ensure maintenance on plant and machinery is carried out at regular intervals.
* Ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of HACCAP, BRC, IOS9001 and IFS accreditation.
* To ensure the safe and correct use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), also to ensure the team is adequately trained in the use of PPE.
