About the Role

We are looking for a brilliant IT Engagement Manager to join the Directorate of Information Technology Services (ITS) at Oxford Brookes University. You’ll be a key member of a cross Faculty and Directorate service support team, playing a business critical role in ensuring our IT services are robust, reliable, and secure.

In this role, you will:
* Contribute to strategic planning by assisting faculties and directorates in expressing their technical and business intelligence requirements.
* Build vital partnerships across the University and with external agencies to ensure successful IT delivery.
* Proactively champion innovative enterprise information and computing solutions that align with the wider University strategy.
* Manage service plans and report on performance against Service Level Agreements to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
About You

We are looking for a team player who is adept at working through problems and challenges. You recognise your own limitations and are not afraid to seek support when necessary. Your tenacity ensures you see tasks through to completion, and your curiosity drives you to continually seek the best for yourself and your colleagues.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills, as well as an ability to clearly express and document your thoughts for a range of audiences, from senior managers to students.

Understanding and navigating the complexities of a large organisation between diverse teams to understand, contribute to the design and delivery of excellent enterprise solutions will already be part of your day-to-day work. You possess a customer-orientated approach to service design and the ability to motivate staff while working calmly in a busy environment.

Working Arrangements

We support hybrid working. While our team is based at the in Oxford, we are happy to explore flexible arrangements that balance remote work with time spent on campus to foster team engagement and collaboration. There is an expectation to be on campus at least one day per week, however you are expected to be flexible to suit business needs.
