About Us

Amtek Engineering is a growing mechanical design consultancy. We support our clients with practical, smart and safe engineering solutions. While we’re engineers at heart, we know that telling our story clearly and consistently is key to building trust and growing the business. That’s where you come in.

What We’re Looking For

This is a brand new role and our first marketing hire. You’ll have the chance to shape how we promote the business and take the lead on building something from the ground up on a Part Time basis.


We’re looking for someone confident enough to take the lead, but also collaborative and curious enough to get under the skin of what we do and help others express it too. It’s a new part time role, around 15 hours per week, with flexibility to suit the right person. We’re also open to term-time only working if that suits you better.

You’ll work closely with our director and the wider team to shape how Amtek presents itself to the world.

While we offer hybrid working, we’d like someone who can be in the office at least one day per week at our site on Ferndown Industrial Estate.

We’re also open to term-time only working if that helps fit around family or other commitments.




Requirements

Your Role

1. Digital Marketing

* Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence, including writing posts, supporting the team to share insights, and growing our audience
* Refresh and maintain our website, update content, add case studies and promote services
* Promote the business and our work consistently across digital platforms

2. Brand and Communication

* Help define and maintain a consistent brand identity across everything we do
* Create tools and templates the team can use to promote the business and support bids
* Develop printed materials and internal resources as needed

3. Content and Case Studies

* Turn project work into clear, professional case studies and records of experience
* Write and edit content that reflects what we do and why it matters
* Build a library of material the team can use to present and promote Amtek effectively


About You

You don’t need to have worked in engineering, but you should be comfortable working with technical information and turning it into something clear and engaging.

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Confident writing for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experienced using websites and platforms like LinkedIn to promote content
* Practical, proactive and happy to get stuck in
* Organised, reliable and able to work independently
* A good fit for a small team where your work really matters
* At ease in a part time role that’s flexible, hands-on and focused on delivery
