Description
As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your main duties include manual control of traffic light systems on site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. Occasionally, you may assist qualified operatives to ensure efficient job execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role.
This role suits individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a physical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures. Learn to carry out risk assessments and method statements related to traffic management.
2. Carry out activities according to established procedures, identify areas for improvement, and report to your line manager.
3. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the vehicle.
4. Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
5. Assist the public by directing them safely through site lines when needed.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Training provided in:
* Lantra 12d accreditation - TTMBC
Experience and Qualifications
* Valid UK Driving License required
