Job Description To ensure all paperwork is completed in according with Food Safety, Health and Safety and Department Policies and Procedures. You will be required to drive the Department's vehicle to make daily deliveries to boarding houses, function areas and other such places as required. To assist the Head Chef and Storeman in stock-taking, monitoring stock levels and ordering. To make up shopping baskets of commodities to deliver out or to be collected. To keep the stores and ancillary areas in a clean, organised and tidy manner, including stock rotating. Monitoring wastage and out of dates. Ensuring that the food is delivered to the standard expected. Ensuring that you have a very high standard of communication with the Executive Chef and Head Chef. To keep accurate records of goods being delivered outside of the department in order for recharging to take place and accounts made up. To assist in other areas of the department as required by any member of the Management Team. To ensure compliance with the company’s policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times whilst at work. To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, and company policies and to also keep up to date with training. To ensure that you are helpful and approachable attitude to customers and quick to respond and exceed expectations. To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
