CNC Programmer/Setter
Location: Cross Hills
Salary: £35,000 + overtime available
A well-established manufacturer in Keighley is looking to expand its team with an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter. With upcoming retirements creating opportunities, this is a chance to step into a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming, setting, and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
Working from SOPs and detailed engineering drawings
Conducting self-inspection to uphold quality standards
Recommending and supporting improvements to machining processes
Supporting apprentices and upholding company values
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in CNC machining (milling, turning, or both)
Confident programming ability using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls
A sound understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles
A proactive, flexible attitude with strong communication skills
Success in the Role Will Be Measured By:
High “right first time” and on-time output
Low NCR (Non-Conformance Report) rates
Consistently strong housekeeping and 5S standards
