Capital City College is seeking a Maths Lecturer to support learners in Angel, London. The role is part-time (21 hours per week) on a fixed‑term contract ending 23/05/2026.
About the Role
As a Maths Lecturer you will deliver high‑quality teaching for A‑level Maths, contribute to curriculum development, and provide academic and pastoral guidance to students.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, accurate A‑level Maths lessons in line with Edexcel requirements.
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to facilitate improvement.
* Support curriculum design and review, ensuring the material meets national standards.
* Provide pastoral support and mentoring to students, promoting a positive learning environment.
* Attend department meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in teaching A‑level Maths.
* Strong knowledge of mathematics and its applications.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* Commitment to inclusive, learner‑focused teaching practices.
* Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
