About the Company Our client specialises in the construction of student accommodation, retirement living developments, and hotels. A significant proportion of their projects involve reinforced concrete (RC) frameworks, offering exposure to technically complex and large-scale builds. Key Responsibilities * Managing procurement of materials and plant for construction projects * Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value * Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships * Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines * Monitoring costs and supporting budget control * Working closely with project teams to understand procurement needs * Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation Requirements * Previous experience in a Buyer or procurement role within construction * Knowledge of RC frameworks (desirable but not essential) * Strong negotiation and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Good commercial awareness and attention to detail What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £...
