To support our continued growth in the United Kingdom and internationally, we are seeking a Head of Operations & Country Manager UK who will combine strategic operational leadership with local executive representation of our UK subsidiary.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast‑growing international business operating at the intersection of aviation, software and industrial IoT.
Your Mission
Reporting to Group Management, you will lead global operational activities while acting as the local representative and leader of our UK entity.
Global Operations & Support Leadership (70%)
You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across our international customer base. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the deployment and commissioning of IoT solutions across more than 150 international airport sites.
* Ensuring the performance, availability and reliability of over 10,000 connected devices in operation worldwide.
* Managing global technical support activities and guaranteeing compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Driving continuous improvement of operational processes and customer service delivery.
* Overseeing international supply chain and logistics operations, including inventory management for hardware and spare parts.
* Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure flawless execution of projects and customer commitments.
Country Management – United Kingdom (20%)
As the local representative of the UK subsidiary, you will:
* Act as the primary legal and operational representative of the British entity.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations in collaboration with Group support functions (HR, Finance, Legal, HSE).
* Lead and develop the London‑based team.
* Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus and operational excellence.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, strategic partners and key stakeholders across the UK market.
Contract & Procurement Management (10%)
You will also oversee:
* Service, maintenance and support contract management.
* Negotiation and management of supplier agreements.
* Monitoring of contractual KPIs and performance commitments.
* Procurement relationships with logistics providers, hardware suppliers and subcontractors.
