An established, respected regional law firm is seeking a Regional Director to lead and develop its highly regarded Child Care Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join at a senior level, shaping both the direction of the team and the delivery of high-quality client service. The Role
* Lead and manage a team of dedicated childcare lawyers and support staff
* Oversee complex public and private law children cases, including care proceedings, adoption, EPOs and child arrangements
* Provide expert guidance to clients, often in sensitive and emotionally charged matters
* Represent clients at all levels, including family courts and tribunals
* Support and mentor junior solicitors, developing talent within the team
* Contribute to departmental strategy, business planning and compliance
* Work closely with marketing and senior management on profile-raising and departmental growth
About You
* A qualified solicitor with 10+ years PQE in childcare law
* Children Law Accreditation (Law Society Panel Member) is essential
* Experience managing a team or supervising staff
* A confident advocate with strong experience in both public and private children work
* Committed to delivering empathetic, expert advice to clients
* Commercially aware, with an interest in growing and developing the practice
