Equans Sci-Tech is seeking a motivated Finance Graduate to join our team in Manchester, which manages the financial activities for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance and risk management. The team provides key insights and analysis that support decision-making at all levels of the business.
As a Finance Graduate you will work alongside experienced professionals and actively contribute to our core financial processes.
Starting in September 2026, you will join our two-year structured Graduate Programme, combining formal training with practical on-the-job experience. Our programme offers a balance of training and on-the-job learning to support your transition to becoming an accomplished professional. You will take responsibility for your career, while we offer guidance and support to help you reach your goals. You will also be encouraged to complete your CIMA or ACCA qualification while on the scheme.
We are looking for people who are motivated to continue learning and ready to take on new opportunities. You won’t be alone during the scheme, and you will be supported to drive your development through reviews and regular meetings with the Early Careers team. You will also be able to join any of our employee-led networks, including our Young Professionals Network.
What you will deliver?
* Contribute to monthly consolidation by preparing financial performance reports and presentations
* Assist with month‑end tasks, including cost reviews, variance analysis and clear commentary
* Collaborate with cross-functional and project teams to deliver financial insights
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Develop and enhance financial models and dashboards
* Use digital tools to strengthen financial controls and improve processes

Who are we looking for?
* A degree in an applicable field i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
* The desire to build a career in FP&A and Controlling
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
* Experience of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling) and an appetite to learn new digital tools
* Be self‑motivated, with proven organisational and time management abilities and the drive to meet deadlines
* Team focused, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels
* A proactive, curious attitude with a willingness to take initiative and continuously improve
