As a Commercial Trainee, you’ll support a high-performing Import Trading team by strengthening customer relationships, preparing pricing offers, and learning the fundamentals of trading global agricultural commodities. This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop your sales acumen and gain exposure to market strategy and commercial decision-making.
What you’ll do:
* Build and manage commercial relationships to drive new sales
* Track trading strategies and monitor performance
* Prepare tailored price offers for customers
* Act as a key point of contact for customer and supplier enquiries
* Work directly with experienced traders to understand global markets
What you’ll need:
* A degree in Agriculture, or related field
* A real interest in trading, markets, and sales
* Strong numeracy and logic with a results-driven mindset
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to work with clients
* Self-motivated, detail-focused, and calm under pressure
