About the role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join an established school with a friendly, multi‑disciplinary in‑house therapy team. In this role you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach, ensuring pupils are safe, comfortable and healthy. Responsibilities also include carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, preparing clinical documentation and reports, developing the clinical service in partnership with the onsite team, and providing support and training to staff and parents.
Essential Criteria
* Appropriate psychotherapeutic qualification
* Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of working with people with neuro‑divergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neuro‑developmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently under supervision
* Experience of multi‑professional work teams or services within a designated speciality
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
