What will this role involve?
As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the store management team, and you will be tasked with driving forward turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles. You will keep a close focus on customer service and be an ambassador of the Ryman brand.
What you will do includes supporting the store team and delivering a high standard of customer experience.
What will you be responsible for?
* Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by showing interest in learning everything about the business and your role and sharing this knowledge with customers
* Confidently and professionally handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention
* Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by Store Management Team and the business
* Engage with customers, establish needs and help them purchase by applying strong product knowledge while highlighting relevant promotions and upselling
* Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems
* Promote high visual merchandising standards; ensure store housekeeping standards are high
* Acquire a high level of product knowledge and continue to self-develop that knowledge
* Recognise and act upon opportunities to increase the value of sales by offering appropriate additional items
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies
