Role Overview

As a Bloomberg Customer Support professional, you will provide superb customer service to a broad range of clients and manage client workflows and hardware/software issues. You will be responsible for the installation, connection, hardware management and workflow support of terminal clients over the phone and via Bloomberg Instant Messaging. The position includes assisting fast‑paced clients operating in Capital Markets, Asset Management and Financial Services by installing Bloomberg software and configuring proprietary hardware such as keyboards and biometrics. You will also work with clients, including CEOs and executive managers, set‑up, train, and connect them to the various Bloomberg products and platforms they subscribe to.
Responsibilities
• Install and configure Bloomberg software and terminal hardware for clients.
• Provide technical support over phone and instant messaging.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and understand their impact on client workflows.
• Ensure security of client accounts and data.
• Conduct training and onboarding for new users.
• Work with a distributed team supporting clients in more than 18 languages.
Qualifications
 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
 * Sponsorship is available; must be eligible for the UK Skilled Worker under the New Entrant Requirements.
 * Fluency in French and English (written and verbal).
 * Ability to provide outstanding customer service through live interactive media (phone, messaging, etc.).
 * Demonstrated interest in Finance and/or Technology.
 * Desire to develop skills and experience in a fast‑moving FinTech environment.
 * Willingness to learn new technologies and retain information.
 * Multi‑tasking and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
 * Interest in progressing a career within Bloomberg.
Nice to Have
 * Work experience in a client/customer facing role.
 * Curiosity to identify, research, and resolve customer technology, software, and hardware issues.
 * Awareness of data management, privacy and information security.
 * Aptitude to work within highly connected and software‑based systems.
